Crain’s Detroit special projects editor Bragg departs for Detroit News

Amy Elliott Bragg has joined The Detroit News as an assistant city editor on the metro desk.

Bragg was a special projects editor at Crain’s Detroit Business.

She worked freelance and was a content coordinator and content director at Detroit-based media company Issue Media Group. She was an online marketing coordinator, staff writer and editor at American Institute for Preventive Medicine.

She was a senior editor at ThirdCoast Digest, where she transitioned the print publication, Vital Source Magazine, to online-only publishing,

Bragg has a B.A. from Beloit College.
