Minnah Arshad a Crain’s Detroit Business general assignment reporter, is leaving the publication.
“Looking to pursue my passion in data reporting and will spend some time building data skills while freelancing on the side,” she wrote on Twitter.
Previously, she was a breaking news intern reporter at The Detroit Free Press. She was a contributing writer to The South End, Wayne State University’s student paper and Atlanta Muslim, an online community for Atlanta Muslims focused on news, events and articles.
Arshad is a graduate of Wayne State University.
