Stan Bullard, a senior reporter at Crain’s Cleveland Business, is retiring after nearly 39 years with the publication.
Bullard covers real estate and related industries from architecture, brokerage and construction to property technology, as well as retail.
His last day will be Dec. 31. Bullard started at the publication on Feb. 2, 1986.
He previously worked in communications at Cleveland State University and Alcan after spending nine years at community newspapers.
“How did I get interested in business journalism?” said Bullard in an email. “I heard a Wall Street Journal reporter talk about aggressively covering public companies. I figured that would make for daily competition, better than election years.”
Bullard is a graduate of Kent State University.
