Rachel Abbey McCafferty, a journalist covering education and manufacturing for Crain’s Cleveland Business, will leave in September to go freelance. She wrote on Twitter:
“I’ve enjoyed the past decade at Crain’s, and I’ve learned a lot, but it’s time for the next challenge.”
McCafferty joined in March 2013 as a manufacturing reporter. She then served as an assistant editor and reporter. She also reported for Patch.com and Catalyst Ohio, a Cleveland education magazine.
McCafferty has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University.
