Crain’s Chicago Business has tapped Elizabeth Couch as director of audience and engagement for the publication and its sister publications in New York, Detroit and Cleveland.
In her new role, Couch will work with the editorial leads in each market to elevate each newsroom’s journalism across all digital platforms and will also coordinate closely with Crain Communications’ core marketing team.
She recently served as digital editor for audience at Crain’s Detroit Business. Previously, she was director of communications for the State Bar of Michigan.
Before that, she spent six years at the Chicago Tribune.
Couch has a B.A. from Michigan State University and a M.A. from City, University of London.
