CoStar has hired three new copy editors

Three new copy editors have started at real estate news service CoStar News in the past two weeks. Each is based in Washington.
They are:

Mike Farine, a longtime Catholic News ServIce copy editor since 2010. He also was a copy editor at The Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun and the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Farine is a graduate of Bowling Green University.

Gail Hughes, as senior copy editor. She previously was chief copy editor at SmartBrief and also worked as a news editor for Knight-Ridder/Tribune Business News. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Lincoln University and a master’s degree from Temple University.

Adam Reiskin, who has been a research analyst at Newmark. He is a graduate of Skidmore College.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
