Bloomberg Law journalist Perry Cooper is now covering state and local taxes.
She previously had been covering the federal circuit as senior legal editor.
Cooper also spent five years covering class action lawsuits and nearly three years covering toxics laws for Bloomberg Law.
She was previously a legal fellow at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Cooper holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, a master’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a law degree from William & Mary.
