The Washington Post has hired Nancy Cook as a senior White House and national political reporter.
Cook will start Oct. 12.
She has been a senior national political correspondent at Bloomberg for the past four years.
Cook previously was on its White House team covering economic policy. Cook joined Bloomberg at the end of 2020 to cover the incoming Biden White House, with a special focus on economic policy and the ways the incoming administration dug the country out of the recession and COVID-19.
She previously covered the White House for Politico. Cook also worked for Newsweek, Fast Company and the National Journal.
She is a Carleton College graduate.
