Sean Conlon was named associate reporter on the CNBC.com markets team, covering emerging investment trends and notable analyst calls.
He reports to deputy markets editor Fred Imbert.
Conlon came to CNBC in 2023 as an intern on “Fast Money,” where he wrote articles based on the show’s segments and helped cover “ETF Edge” and later joined the digital rotational program.
He was also an intern for the CBS News’ White House and political units and “Face the Nation,” CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS” and the New York Post.
Conlon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbia University and was an opinion editor with the Columbia Daily Spectator.
