Columbus Dispatch biz reporter Trombly departs for Houston Landing

Monroe Trombly, a business reporter at The Columbus Dispatch will leave to join the nonprofit news startup the Houston Landing as a reporter to cover public safety.

Trombly joined the Dispatch in November 2021 as a breaking and trending news reporter. Before that, he covered the business of city hall and local and state politics for the Mansfield News Journal, part of the Gannett | USA Today Network.

He also interned at Gannett | USA Today Network and Cincinnati CityBeat.

Trombly graduated from the University of Cincinnati.
