Columbus Business First reporter Hayleigh Colombo is leaving the American City Business Journals publication to join a 12-reporter team at Lee Enterprises to do investigative reporting.
Her last week will be this week. She had been at Columbus Business First for three years.
Colombo has previously worked for the Indianapolis Business Journal as a government and education reporter since August 2015.
Prior to her time with the Indianapolis Business Journal, she worked as a K-12 reporter for Chalkbeat from May 2014 to July 2015. She also worked as a higher education reporter for Journal and Courier from May 2012 to May 2014.
Colombo graduated from Butler University in 2012.
