Zach Cohen is joining Bloomberg Tax to cover the fiscal cliff and tax issues on Capitol Hill.
He has been covering Congress for Bloomberg Government.
Cohen previously was a Senate reporter at the National Journal. Before that, he served as a staff correspondent for Hotline and web producer for Hotline at the Journal. Prior to joining the Journal in 2014, he was an intern metro desk reporter at The Washington Post.
His work has also appeared in The Atlantic, Time Magazine and USA Today. He has also offered on-air analysis on C-SPAN, Fox News, CBSN, and SiriusXM.
His work has garnered multiple awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, including a Dateline Award for beat reporting.
Cohen graduated from American University, where he served as editor-in-chief of the student-run newspaper The Eagle.
