CNN’s Tokyo correspondent, NY Times to kick off audio franchise, ABC sports anchor in Chicago

CNN has hired Hanako Montgomery as an international correspondent based in Tokyo. The New York Times has announced a soon-to-be-named audio interview franchise co-hosted by David Marchese and Lulu Garcia-Navarro. And in the Windy City, sports anchor/reporter Ryan Chiaverini has been promoted to lead sports anchor at ABC7 Chicago.
