CNN’s Mulholland joining Bloomberg

Tara Mulholland

Tara Mulholland is joining Bloomberg News as an audience editor.

Mulholland is the senior social media producer for CNN’s global features team, based in Hong Kong. She is responsible for the production and publication of CNN’s global features and sponsored content across a range of social platforms as well as leading social training, planning and strategy.

Mulholland joined CNN in 2016 as a social producer in London. She became CNN’s social lead in Hong Kong in 2018, where she took part in social publishing, video editing and news gathering, including reporting on her time in a coronavirus quarantine camp. Prior to CNN, she held similar digital and social media roles at Sky News.

Mulholland graduated from Oxford University with a BA in English Literature, and from City University with an MA in television journalism.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
