Lucy Bayly will be joining CNN Business as senior economy editor.
She begins Feb. 14.
In her new role, Bayly will help bolster coverage of economic policy, trends and data focusing on various factors, including the growing wealth gap, the labor market, the supply chain, inflation, monetary policy at the Federal Reserve and more.
She will also be driving breaking news coverage and collaborating with the graphics team among other tasks.
Bayly joins from NBC News, where she has worked for over 6 years, most recently, as a business editor. Before that, she served as a business reporter.
She has also worked freelance for Davler Media in New York, Original Penguin and Gawker.
Bayly graduated from the University of Manchester.
