CNN Business Arabic hires Wagdy as head of the news desk

Lilian Wagdy

Lilian Wagdy has joined CNN Business Arabic as head of the news desk.

Recently, Wagdy was at Reuters, where she worked for more than eight years, recently serving as Middle East breaking news correspondent.

Before that, she held the posts of sub-editor and duty editor. Previously, she worked at Reuters from March 2005 through August 2008 as sub-editor. She was a news producer at Video Cairo Sat in Egypt.

Wagdy graduated from Ain Shams University.
