CNBC’s Pisani reflects on decades of markets coverage

CNBC markets correspondent Bob Pisani, who is leaving coverage from the New York Stock Exchange after 35 years, spoke about his beat.

“I feel like the last of the Mohicans here,” said Pisani. “I’m the last of the ones who were on the air the first year.”

Pisani said he saw his role as educating consumers about the markets. “That’s the way I viewed my role,” he said.
