He will be covering the labor market, cost of living and monetary policy.
For the past year, Harring has been writing “Squawk Box” newsletter. He previously had been covering the markets and other stories about issues that shape the U.S. economy.
Harring is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he studied English and political science. He interned at The Wall Street Journal.
He worked for four years at The Michigan Daily. Harring previously interned at CNN, CNBC and The Detroit News, and he spent a spring at NBC News in the Business, Technology and Innovation Unit.
