
Diana Ransom has been tapped by CNBC has deputy managing editor of deputy managing editor of money & success at CNBC.
She will oversee three of CNBC’s brands including personal finance, CNBC Make It and CNBC Select.
Ransom has been editorial director at CNBC for the past seven months.
She previously was executive editor at Inc. magazine. She had been with the publication for nearly 12 years.
Ransom has covered several presidential campaigns, a couple of recessions and one major health crisis for a variety of outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, the New York Daily News, Fast Company, Entrepreneur, The Christian Science Monitor and others.
She was also co-host of the magazine’s flagship podcast “From the Ground Up.”
Over the years, she has led several major packages for the publication including Female Founders 500 and Ignition Schools, as well as (RIP) Inc.’s 30 Under 30 and Coolest College Startups.
