Business news channel CNBC is starting a new show called “Money Movers” that will air each weekday at 11 a.m.
The one-hour show launches on Nov. 6. “Squawk on the Street,” which has been airing from 9 a.m. to noon, will now be a two-hour show.
The anchors will be Carl Quintanilla and Sara Eisen.
Quintanilla is currently co-anchor of “Squawk on the Street,” which broadcasts from Post 9 at the New York Stock Exchange. Previously, he was co-anchor of CNBC’s “TechCheck” and “Squawk Alley.” Eisen has been the co-anchor of “Squawk on the Street” from 10 a.m. to noon.
CNBC says the program will cover breaking news and numbers driving stocks and sectors. The anchors anchors will interview CEOs, government decision-makers and newsmakers who play a relevant role in how money is moving.
