CNBC space reporter Sheetz is departing

Michael Sheetz

Michael Sheetz, who covers the space industry for CNBC, is leaving for a new opportunity.

His last day will be Friday.

Sheetz has been covering the space industry since 2017. He contributes across both CNBC and NBCUniversal’s global content offerings, from digital reporting to television programming, and is the author of the weekly newsletter CNBC’s “Investing in Space.”

Sheetz is a graduate of King’s College.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill.
