CNBC said Tuesday it will launch a new podcast series, “Executive Decisions,” hosted by “Squawk Box Europe” co-anchor Steve Sedgwick.
The weekly series, available each Tuesday, focuses on interviews with some of the world’s most influential business leaders and policymakers. Focusing on “The decisions that defined their careers,” the podcast takes listeners inside the moments that have shaped top executives.
Among the early interview subjects are Christian Bruch, CEO of Siemens Energy, steering the company through the global energy transition; and Julia Hoggett, CEO of the London Stock Exchange, at the forefront of capital markets and financial innovation.
“’Executive Decisions’ is about more than just boardroom choices. It’s about human stories of leadership, resilience and foresight,” said Sedgwick in a statement. “These conversations show that defining moments often come with doubt and risk, but also with the potential to transform industries and careers.”
Sedgwick has covered key global economic events including G7, G20, and World Economic Forum meetings, while also serving as the network’s OPEC reporter.
