Karen Amanda Toulon has been hired as director of standards for CNBC.
Previously, she worked at CNBC from 1989 to 1994, holding the posts of daytime co-supervising producer, producer and associate producer.
Toulon has worked at Bloomberg for 22 years, holding various posts, including New York bureau chief, executive editor for global newsmakers, senior equality writer and chief equality correspondent. She also served as deputy editor for America and managing editor for financial TV at Reuters.
She also worked at CBS News for two years.
Toulon has a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
