Select hires Stawski from The Points Guy

Benji Stawski

Select has hired Benji Stawski as an editor.

His coverage will include a variety of topics including credit cards, personal loans, insurance products, mortgages and a whole range of personal finance products.

Stawski previously served as a senior reporter at The Points Guy, an online resource for all things points, miles and resourceful travel experiences. His coverage spanned from flight and hotel reviews to deep dives into loyalty programs and credit cards, guides on flying private, breaking news about the airline and hotel industries and much more.

He is a graduate of Bentley University.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
