
Sally Shin has been named executive vice president of growth and partnerships at CNBC.
Shin will be responsible for accelerating growth across emerging media platforms and strengthening new and existing partnerships
She will report to President KC Sullivan and starts on Jan. 13.

She has a deep understanding of what differentiates the CNBC brand, and she has the unique ability to help define and execute on our growth strategy, positioning CNBC at the forefront of the evolving media landscape.”
Most recently, she served as a venture partner at Comcast Ventures, advising startups in the media and tech sectors. Prior to that, she was Chief Strategy Officer at UnitedMasters, where she led business development, partnerships, and corporate development initiatives. She was also the co-founder of Raive, an artificial intelligence company focused on multimedia foundation models.
Earlier in her career, Shin spent several years in journalism and production. At CNBC, she served as San Francisco bureau chief and helped launch the network’s first tech-focused program, “Squawk Alley.”
She later became executive editor at NBC News, overseeing business, tech, and media coverage across broadcast, digital, streaming, and podcasts.
