Mike Sheen has been hired at CNBC as markets and finance editor, overseeing CNBC International’s coverage of global markets, banks, deals and corporate finance across EMEA.
Based in London, he will manage a team of specialist reporters and drive breaking news, exclusives and high‑impact financial coverage for CNBC’s global audiences.
Sheen brings extensive newsroom leadership experience, joining from This Is Money where he served as news editor. His prior roles include news editor and deputy news editor at Investment Week, following reporting roles covering global fund management.
He trained at the Press Association and has a track record in financial, markets and business journalism.
