CNBC has hired Hugh Leask as a markets reporter in London.
He is covering breaking news across equities, bonds, commodities and other asset classes.
Leask has been a freelance journalist for most of the past three years. He previously was editor of HedgeWeek and assistant editor of EuroHedge.
Leask also worked for Euromoney Institutional Investor for nearly a decade as a senior reporter.
He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow.
