Versant, the parent company of CNBC, reported second-quarter earnings on Thursday and disclosed that the business news network had its highest-rated day in more than five years.

Coverage of the SpaceX initial public offering drove the ratings.

Versant also said the network ranked among the top 10 cable networks for the fourth consecutive month during market hours in June and remains the trusted destination for consequential market events.

CNBC also generated the most affluent and educated weekday daytime audience in television for the 27th consecutive quarter. The network featured exclusive interviews with leading business executives and policymakers, including Jeff Bezos, whose appearance generated more than 100 million video views across platforms.
