CNBC.com technology editor Steve Kovach is moving to a television role covering Big Tech companies such as Apple and Microsoft.
His writing will still appear on the website.
Kovach joined CNBC in 2018. He previously was a senior correspondent at Business Insider. He joined the company in 2010 as a technology reporter and rose through the ranks in a variety of roles, including deputy editor of Tech Insider, which he helped launch in 2015. Additionally, he worked on programming for Business Insider’s annual Ignition conference.
Kovach is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and earned a dual degree in Journalism and English.
