CNBC announced Thursday the launch of “Morning Call,” a new early‑morning program.

Premiering Monday, March 23 at 5 a.m. ET, “Morning Call” will be anchored by CNBC’s Morgan Brennan and Richard Carolan will serve as executive producer.

“Pre‑market hours are when the news of the day starts to take shape,” said CNBC editor in chief David Cho in a statement. “With ‘Morning Call,” we’re doubling down on our commitment to deliver unmatched business journalism and give viewers a decisive edge before the U.S. markets open.”

For more than 10 years, Brennan has served as an anchor for the network interviewing CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, heads of state, high-profile investors, and thought leaders. Most recently, she was co-anchor of CNBC’s “Closing Bell: Overtime,” “Squawk Alley,” and the 10 a.m. ET hour of “Squawk on the Street,” and continues to cover a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, and defense and space.

She is also host of the CNBC podcast “Manifest Space.”
