Citywire appoints Wenik editor of Citywire RIA

Ian Wenik

Citywire has promoted Ian Wenik to editor of Citywire RIA.

Recently, he served as a senior reporter and reported on the U.S. wealth management industry, focused on registered investment advisors.

Prior to joining Citywire in March 2018, Wenik was a distressed debt reporter at CapitalStructure Limited, where he also covered leveraged loans and corporate restructuring.

He also covered corporate bankruptcy, out-of-court restructuring, alternative energy and heavy industry for TheStreet.com and The Deal. He interned at Newsday Media Group, NBC Sports and Philadelphia Magazine.

Wenik has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
