City AM hires Hunt as city editor

British business publication City AM has hired Simon Hunt as city editor.

He has been editor of UKTN, which covers British technology news.

He previously was business and technology correspondent at the Evening Standard. Hunt served as editor-in-chief and associate editor of the Oxford Political Review, which covers current affairs, political theory and international relations. He also freelanced as a news reporter for Radio Jackie in London.

Previously, he worked as a reporter on the Wealth beat at Bloomberg.

Hunt has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oxford and a master’s degree from City, University of London.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
