Tom Demeropolis has been named the new editor of the Cincinnati Business Courier.
Projects editor Nikki Kingery writes, “Tom Demeropolis, who had served as managing editor, was promoted to the role by the Business Courier’s parent company, American City Business Journals. He succeeds longtime editor Rob Daumeyer, who was named vice president/news and content for ACBJ earlier this month. The move is effective April 1.
“A native Cincinnatian, Demeropolis began working at the Business Courier in November 2010 in a combined role as reporter and digital editor. In 2013, he moved into a full-time reporting position primarily covering commercial and residential real estate industries before being named managing editor in June 2022. Previously, Demeropolis was a reporter at the Courier’s sister paper, the Dayton Business Journal. He is a University of Cincinnati graduate and has a master’s in journalism from Ball State University.
“Jamie Smith, market president and publisher of the Business Courier, praised Demeropolis’ skills as both a reporter and editor as well as his deep relationships within the community.”
