Chua-Eoan becomes senior columnist for Bloomberg Opinion

Howard Chua-Eoan

Howard Chua-Eoan has been named a senior columnist for Bloomberg Opinion.

Chua-Eoan was the international editor of Bloomberg Opinion. He now writes about the nexus of culture and business.

He previously was deputy editor and deputy managing editor of Bloomberg Businessweek. He also spent 20 years at Time magazine as news director, senior editor and assistant managing editor. Chua-Eoan also worked at People magazine as a senior editor.

He is a graduate of Columbia University.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
