Chief Executive hires Ryan as editor of StrategicCFO360

Chief Executive Group announced Thursday that Vincent Ryan has joined us as editor, StrategicCFO360 and CFO Leadership Council, the largest peer network for CFOs in North America.

Prior to joining CEG, Ryan spent 16 years at CFO.com and CFO magazine as editor in chief and later as the senior reporter at large. His long career includes stints covering technology, banking, telecom and finance at a host of well-known industry publications.

“I am incredibly fortunate to have spent half my career (16-1/2 years) at CFO, working alongside dozens of extremely talented journalists,” wrote Ryan on LinkedIn.

Ryan is a graduate of the University of Scranton.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
