Gordon Rago, who covers growth and development for the Charlotte Observer, is leaving the paper.
He had been at the North Carolina publication since October 2021.
Rago had previously been at The Virginian-Pilot since April 2018. He was City Hall reporter covering Chesapeake, Virginia’s second-largest city by population. He previously worked at the York Daily Record in Pennsylvania for four years.
Rago also worked at the Shoshone News-Press in Idaho as a reporter.
He is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College.
