The Central New York Business Journal will be shutting as long-time, family-owned news publication announced that the current issue is the last one.
Marine Eisenstadt of the Syracuse Post-Standard writes, “‘While this chapter is coming to a close, the impact of the Business Journal and my father’s legacy will continue through the businesses, leaders, and communities it helped inform and connect,’ wrote Marny Nesher, president and owner of the Central New York Business Journal.
“She did not offer a reason for the business shutting down. The journal and the company’s other businesses employ about a dozen people.
“The business events side of the publication, called BizEventz, shut down at the end of December.”
