Jacob Carpenter has joined Houston Landing, a new accountability- and community-focused digital news organization as a team leader.
Previously, Carpenter worked as a freelance newsletter writer for Fortune’s Data Sheet, a daily newsletter focused on the business of tech, and The Trust Factor, a weekly newsletter exploring the nexus of business and trust.
He was an education reporter at the Houston Chronicle, an investigative reporting fellow at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and a news reporter at Naples Daily News. He interned at The Huntsville Times, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and MLive.com.
Carpenter graduated from Michigan State University.
