Cardinal News hires Rowan as education reporter

Lisa Rowan

Lisa Rowan has joined Cardinal News in Virginia as an education reporter.

Recently, she was lead editor for consumer finance coverage at Forbes Advisor. Before that, she served as staff writer, senior staff writer and deputy editor.

Rowan was a staff writer at Gizmodo Media Group and a senior writer and on-air analyst at The Penny Hoarder.

Rowan has a B.A. from the University of Maryland and a M.A. from Georgetown University.

She is the author of “Money Hacks,” which was released in 2020.
