Capoot joins CNBC as a full-time reporter

Ashley Capoot

Ashley Capoot has joined CNBC full-time as a reporter on the tech and weekend news team, where she will cover breaking news and more.

Previously, Capoot was working on a rotational basis.

She interned at the Chicago Tribune and NBC News, and held editorial roles at STITCH Magazine.

She investigated immigration policy as part of a selective partnership with the Washington Post.

Capoot graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. There, she also reported for the student paper.
