Bustillo named deputy standards editor at WSJ

Miguel Bustillo has been named deputy standards editor at The Wall Street Journal.

He has been U.S. news coverage chief.

Bustillo was formerly the Journal’s global energy and climate editor and previously served as an editor in charge of national news in the western U.S. Before that, he was a reporter covering retailers such as Walmart and Best Buy.

Prior to joining the Journal in 2008, He worked for the Los Angeles Times, where he served as a national correspondent, environmental writer and California political reporter.

Bustillo is a graduate of New York University.
