Business Insider finance correspondent Weinman departs

Aaron Weinman

Aaron Weinman, a foreign correspondent covering the people, themes, and culture on Wall Street at Business Insider, has left. Weinman’s tweet reads:

“Today’s my last day working in NY. I’m gutted to be leaving, but excited to see family in Aus. Yes, after more than a decade, I’m headed home!”

Previously, he was at Thomson Reuters, where he worked on Finance and Risk business, which was re-branded as Refinitiv. There, he covered the primary leveraged-finance market and Latin American loan market.

He worked at former Euromoney publication LatinFinance, where he reported on the Latin American and Caribbean capital markets and more.

Weinman has a bachelor’s degree from La Trobe University and a master’s degree from Deakin University.
