Dani Burger is becoming co-anchor of “Bloomberg Open Interest” starting next week.

She has been anchoring “Bloomberg Brief,” which airs at 5 a.m. “Bloomberg Open Interest” airs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. during the week.

Burger reports on market-moving news and conducts exclusive interviews with leaders across asset management, private equity, policymaking, and the corporate world — including BlackRock’s Larry Fink, Blackstone’s Steve Schwarzman, Federal Reserve officials, and CEOs of S&P 500 companies.

Her reporting has broken major stories on multi-billion-dollar funds and companies. She has been recognized by the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing for the 2018 Larry Birger Young Business Journalist Award and was shortlisted for the 2023 WeAreTheCity Rising Star Award.

Burger joined Bloomberg News in New York in 2014, covering cross-asset trends, quantitative hedge funds, and passive strategies, before spending six years in London with Bloomberg TV covering international business and finance. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia.
