Michelle Cioci Adams
Michelle Cioci Adams has been named editor in chief of Buffalo Business First, an American City Business Journals publication.
She has been managing editor for the past four-and-a-half years and before that was associate editor for seven years.
Before joining ACBJ, Adams was the assistant managing editor of the Utica Observer-Dispatch in New York.
Cioci is from of Youngstown, Ohio, and a graduate of Kent State University. She moved to upstate New York in 2001 when she accepted a job as a copy editor/page designer at the Observer-Dispatch.
Adams replaces Donna Collins who has held just about every news position in her 38 years with the publication. Collins is retiring.
