Breaking Defense taps Gill as defense networks and emerging tech reporter

Breaking Defense has hired Jaspreet Gill as defense networks and emerging technologies reporter.

She joins from Inside Washington Publishers, where she recently served as a senior technology reporter. Before that, she has held the posts of associate editor and senior army reporter.

She has also edited stories for Medley Magazine, Syracuse University’s culture and entertainment magazine. She was also a staff writer at The Daily Orange, the independent campus newspaper of Syracuse University.

She has also covered community news in Orange and Ulster counties in New York for two weekly publications — the Wallkill Valley Times and Southern Ulster Times.

Gill has a B.A. in political science/journalism from Purchase College, SUNY and a M.A. in magazine, newspaper and online journalism from Syracuse University.
