CyberScoop and FedScoop has hired Matt Bracken to be its managing editor.
He had most recently been at Morning Consult as a senior editor.
Bracken had been deputy editorial director at Edelman in the Washington, D.C. office. He provided editorial counsel to clients in the federal government, technology, health care, education, public affairs and energy sectors.
Before that, Bracken spent 10 years at the Baltimore Sun as director of audience engagement and development and deputy sports editor. He also worked at the Arizona Daily Star.
He holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Northwestern University.
