The Boston Globe has hired Dana Gerber as a reporter on the business news desk.
She will start Sept. 6.
Gerber is currently working as an intern on the entertainment desk at the Dallas Morning News. Previously, she was a co-op on the Living/Arts desk at the Boston Globe, chasing eclectic stories about the city’s cultural scene — from underground art in the subway system to a $1 sketch artist in Boston Common to a Vermont museum that celebrates mundanity.
Gerber has been published in Cosmopolitan, Mic.com, Bethesda Magazine, and Boston Magazine. She is a graduate of Emerson College.
