The Boston Business Journal has hired Maya Shavit as a projects reporter.
She will be covering the business of higher education and working on data-driven projects. Shavit interned for the American City Business Journals publication in 2024.
Shavit has been working as a community co-op for the Boston Globe since the beginning of the year. She has also been co-editor in chief of the Boston Political Review.
Shavit holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Boston University.
