Ellie Borst has a new beat at E&E News as a toxics and waste reporter to cover chemicals, trash and recycling.
She joined as an intern in July 2022 covering energy and environment policy.
Previously, Borst interned at PolitiFact, where she fact checked viral claims or claims by public figures for accuracy, with a focus on environmental policy. She also interned at The Arizona Republic.
She also covered national sustainability and education issues in Washington that affect Arizona for Cronkite News, Arizona PBS.
