The Lawyer has hired Jessica Boak as deputy news editor to cover law, legal industry news and legal firms.
Boak joined from World Textile Information Network, where she recently served as editor and news lead.
Before that, she held the posts of staff writer and deputy digital editor. She interned at Drapers, The Overtake, Culture Vulture and Yorkshire Evening Post.
Boak has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Leeds and a MSc. from Leeds Beckett University.
